The plate is hand built and hand painted. I used underglaze for the illustration, Amaco Velvets on greenware fired to cone 06ish, VC 20/20 clear glaze and then fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.

The Happy Sparrow
Because who's unhappy with a cheese plate. The clay is from Highland Clay, the porcelain mix. Same Amaco velvet underglaze. Painted twice, once on greenware and again after bisque. Made in 2015 and gifted to a private collection.
